Outing at Achmelvich Bay
The beautiful Achmelvich Bay near Lochinver, one hour north of Ullapool. Went for a day trip with family and took this beautiful picture.
It is a stunning white sand beach with amazing nature and many nearby walks and climbs including the famous Suilven for those interested in hiking. You can also go fishing for cod, haddock, whiting, pollack, saithe and mackerel being common catches.
Apart from the summer months, September to April also have stunning views of the sea due to the low light and the darkness of the water.
